7 Weight Loss Tips for Busy Executives

There is a huge demand for weight loss products and weight loss program.  Everywhere you turn to, you are bound to meet someone who has had struggles with weight problems and want to lose weight as fast as possible.  In fact, the weight loss niche is a billion dollar industry and people are making millions of dollars from selling different products and solutions that claim to help people with weight loss problems.

Some people have desperately embarked on rigid diet programs and rigorous exercise routines in the hope to lose the weight they want.  Others prefer to go on a slower and more systematic approach with varying degrees of success.  It seems that losing weight has become the obsession of many people in the competitive world we live today.

No matter what your personal preference and personal goals may be, if you follow these five tips for busy executives that we share with you today, you will soon be seeing inches and pounds melt away.  It is simple to do and you don’t have to make drastic changes in your lifestyle to accommodate these tips into your busy schedule.

Tip # 1: Walking
You can start a walking program to get the metabolism up and running.  Physical activity revs up your metabolism, which may be sluggish and slow due to lack of activity.  Even simple acts such as walking have been shown to promote a healthy metabolic rate and induce weight loss. The best way to walk is to walk moderately without panting.  Panting simply shows that you are in an anaerobic state which does not burn calories.  Make sure you are not gasping for breath when you do this activity.

Tip # 2: Cycle
This is a fun and relaxing activity you can perform with your partner.  Go to a park and rent a bike or better, cycle your way there with your partner and start having loads of fun in the process. You can chat get to know each other’s preferences and dislikes.  Share jokes and giggles, your dreams and aspirations and make this moment enjoyable and meaningful.  Not only both of you will end up looking fit; you will be nurturing the relationship which is important for both of you.

Tip # 3: Use the Stairs
Choose to use the staircase instead of the lift or elevator.  This is a fantastic way to burn off some extra calories in an easy and almost effortless manner.  It does not take much to incorporate this small change or habit into your life but the results can be astounding.

Tip # 4: Walk Instead of Drive
The next time you may need to go somewhere near, forget the car and walk there instead.
If you do need to use you car because of the distance, then park your vehicle way from the entrance and walk over to burn off some calories.  It is fun and does not cost much of your time.

Tip # 5:  Journal
Rather than making this into a diary, make it into your daydream book, where you record all your hopes, aspirations and dreams that you want to make happen in the near future.  Just remember that you are the one who has the power to make it happen.

Tip # 6:  Exercise at Work
You can choose to perform simple exercises art in the office that does not require too much space or time.  In fact, plenty of simple moves can be done while you are typing to waiting by the copier machine or the fax to arrive.  Raise your legs and circle them in the air while being seated at your chair.  Do some shoulder rolls.  Clench those buttocks for a firm, tight and sexy look. Circle your arms clockwise and do some simple arm repetition exercises during a short break.

Tip # 7: Meditation
This is an extremely pleasant activity you can do at home, in the evenings while listening to soft music.  You can use this moment to visualize your goals and dreams and see them coming into fruition.  See yourself in the perfect shape and weight you want reaching and achieving all that you dream of.
